Imagine listening with your eyes and seeing with your ears- glitter and
flowers on a blue satin ribbon, a fresh pack of cigarettes never to be
opened, nylon slips and red velvet suits... welcome to the sights and
sounds of Lady Krishna's Peppermint Lounge. Natasha Lady Krishna has worked
with Marc Ribot, collaborated with Brian Eno, and had a smash run at La
Mama in NYC with David Chernis. (Damnwells) In 2004 she and Will Hallauer
(the Turn-Ons, formerly of Jupiter Crash) worked with Seattle producer
Erik Blood (now garnering praise for his work with the Lights, the Turn-Ons,
and Catch) and created Meet Me After the Show, a romantically-themed album
they self-released later that year. In 2004 the Peppermint Lounge opened
for the Scissor Sisters at the Showbox Theatre, then finished off a year
of Seattle shows performing at a New Year's bash with the acclaimed Hedwig
and the Angry Inch.
